Officially opened in February 2005, the Kamloops Centre for Water
Quality is the largest operating facility in North America to use Zenon
membrane treatment. Built between March 2003 and December 2004
at a cost of $48.5 million, the current daily treatment capacity of the
centre is 160,000 square meters.
