We are now accepting resumes to fill a permanent, full-time Quality Assurance Analyst position within our Research and Development department. This is a very rewarding role that represents a blend of Quality Assurance and Technical Support responsibilities. Main Job Responsibilities:

  • Become familiar with the Reliable Controls product line including software and hardware products
  • Develop, enhance, and execute test plans for hardware, firmware and software products
  • Record test results and issues found using our testing and bug tracking software
  • Trouble shoot problems discovered and working closely with developers to resolve them
  • Work with internal technical staff to identify potential product issues
  • Verification of resolved bugs and functional requirements
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of the corporation’s test processes and tools used to execute and report test results
  • Provide technical support to incoming calls from our dealer network 

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering degree;
  • Excellent general computer and IT skills;
  • Quality driven personality;
  • Strong desire to be part of a team that produces high-quality applications;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Testing experience of embedded products and software
  • Familiar with test management and documentation systems (TMS)
  • Hands-on experience with electrical devices and measurement instruments;
  • Familiarity with serial and Ethernet communication protocols.
