Intent To verify that the project's energy-related systems are installed and calibrated to perform according to the owner's project requirements (OPR), the basis-of-design and construction documents. Requirements Implement all of the following fundamental best practice commissioning procedures:
  • Engage an individual as the commissioning authority (CxA) to lead, review and oversee the completion of the commissioning process activities
  • Review basis-of-design documentation for clarity and completeness
  • Embed commissioning requirements into construction documents
  • Develop and implement a commissioning plan
  • Verify the installation and functional performance of the systems
  • Verify training and operation and maintenance documentation
  • Complete a summary commissioning report
