Reliable Controls Authorized Dealer Integrated Facility Services (IFS) retrofitted the Grand Lodge of Missouri with a Reliable Controls system.
The 10-month renovation involved the construction of a separate storage area, upgrades to the lighting and lighting controls system with MACH-ProLight controllers, renovating and replacing the HVAC equipment, and installing a new HVAC control system that includes many MACH-Pro2, MACH-ProAir, and MACH-ProZone controllers. IFS installed MACH-ProPoint expansion modules to increase system flexibility.
IFS was able to address excessive humidity caused by the existing mechanical system. Contractors added a vapor barrier around the perimeter of the top floor to prevent moisture and unconditioned air from entering the building. IFS designed a HVAC solution that maintains tight humidity and temperature conditions with 35 independently controlled zones, improving energy efficiency, occupant comfort and controllability.
The building was occupied for the duration of the retrofit, and IFS was careful to coordinate with the project managers and facility owners. The result was a happy customer, pleased with a space that now functions as it should and preserves the integrity of its museum artifacts. Reliable Controls and IFS were thrilled to be part of this project.
