Konimex is an Indonesia-based pharmaceutical sales and manufacturing company with 50 years of experience creating, innovating, and working hard to build quality products. The company strives for social consciousness with an emphasis on environmental initiatives, including wastewater treatment and air filtration.
Reliable Controls Authorized Dealer PT Deltamas Solusindo installed a new building automation system for Konimex to support its environmental initiatives and meet government regulations. The project was a combination of new construction and retrofitting an existing building.
The Reliable Controls products used in this project included four MACH-ProWebSys controllers and 20 MACH-ProPoint expansion modules to control 15 air-handling units, three chillers, and three cooling towers. Control and monitoring of HVAC equipment for the facility’s clean room production area was essential, as was providing a means to collect and archive data about the environmental monitoring system, temperature, humidity, and room pressure for three areas in the plant: extraction, external medicine, and oral medicine.
Accuracy of the data was crucial for this client, as all sensors had individual calibration certificates. The installation spanned three new buildings and the retrofit of an existing one.
