Gateway Shopping Centre in Yarrawonga, near the capital city of Darwin, Northern Territory, is a modern shopping mall with 60 stores, a state-of-the-art movie theater, a 24-hour gym, restaurants, free parking, and Adventure Land, featuring Northern Territory’s largest play structure and one of Australia’s largest ball pits.
Authorized Dealer Integrated Switchgear and Systems (ISAS) installed a Reliable Controls building automation system during construction of Gateway Shopping Center.
The facility’s mechanical equipment includes three 2,400 kWh PowerPax chillers, three precooler units, 16 air-handling units, and 50 fan-coil units. Numerous MACH-ProAir and MACH-ProZone controllers are used in the movie theaters alone. A suite of Reliable Controls software monitors, reports, and archives system data and provides an ideal solution for the complexities of efficiently operating a shopping mall. The integration of electrical, thermal, gas, and water makes this installation unique.
ISAS met project deadlines and liaised with third-party contractors to complete this installation on time and on budget. Gateway’s owner noted the mall has the most complete building automation system they’ve ever seen.
