The mechanical equipment in the facility included a closed-loop chilled-water system, makeup air-handling units that serve clean rooms, fan-coil units, and an exhaust fan system.
VACE networked a MACH-ProSys controller to monitor alarms, air pressure, flow rate, energy consumption, and duct static control. Four MACH-ProCom controllers expanded with MACH-ProPoint Input/Output modules control makeup air-handling units, fan-coil units, and dehumidifiers. The building automation system also controls the temperature, flow rate, pressure, conductivity, and resistivity of a deionized water plant as well as pH levels in wastewater and differential pressure in production areas.
