Authorized Dealer VACE installed a Reliable Controls building automation system in Kester’s Singapore facility in 2014.
The networked hardware included a MACH-ProCom controller expanded with MACH-ProPoint Input/Output modules for chiller sequencing, room pressure control, humidity and temperature control, and makeup and clean-room air-handling units. The makeup air-handling unit required control of off-coil temperature and discharge-air static pressure. Four MACH-ProZone devices control exhaust fans in production areas and failure-alarm monitoring.
The facility’s chilled water plant has two air-cooled chillers and water pumps that serve the air-handling unit for the production, office, and common areas. The makeup air-handling unit serves the clean room, and a dehumidifier and four mechanical exhaust fans maintain setpoints.
